I have been told Martha was the daughter of Seabron Cureton, born circa 1825. I have the following raw data that I desperately need someone to decipher for me: >From the HISTORY OF HENRY COUNTY, ALABAMA, by Mrs. Marvin Scott, 1961, page 214 (This data is transposed here exactly as it is printed in book): William Cureton, wife Celia Bannister. V his will 1832. After the death of Wm. Cureton, 1832, Celia (Banister) Cureton, daughter of Wm. Bannister m Seaborn Smith, lived to be 108 years old. Sara Cureton b in Ga., her father b in N. He was b in Ga., his parents in Va. - wife's father b in S. C., mother in Ga. Children in home in 1880: Camilla, 14 years; Marvin 1 year. I have the book CEMETERY SURVEY--COLUMBIA, ALABAMA that has a complete listing of all the graves of the two Wood-Cureton families and collateral families such as Twitty and Whalen. Does anyone know if there is any connection with the Wood-Cureton families and the Dr. Thomas A. Callen family originally of Smithville, Henry County, northeast of Haleburg on old Franklin to Columbia Road (County Road 47). I ask this because the Callens, Dr. Thomas A. Callen and wife Mildred Smith, are buried in the Wood plot amongst other family members. I am not related to these lines, just doing this research for a dear friend and sister in the Old Baptist Church. Having no "landmarks", I am not able to sort out all of the facts "Miss" Clyde has in her book as written above. Any and all help will be appreciated no matter how large or small. Very Henry Countily Yours, Steve Elliott
