Mr. Perryman, who was wounded in the Battle of Atlanta and died shortly thereafter in Griffin Ga. was married to Sarah Emiline Hall. Her second husband was Benjamin Irwin Chitty. He is buried in Abbeville, Ala. and Sarah Emiline Hall Perryman Chitty is buried at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Jeptha Perryman Jr. had two children, Oscar Perryman and Theodosia Perryman. Oscar's daughter, also Theodosia, married Emmett Solomon.
