    3. I was part of the ceremony when the markers were placed in Wiggins Cemetery at Mt. Pleasant Baptist and at the time we knew he may or may not have been buried there. Since so much history of the Wiggins family was in and around the cemetery area those of us that were consulted decided this was the best place to memorialize Daniel and Susanna. Since no records were kept of burials it was hard to know for sure. It would be nice if we knew for sure but that may never happen. The family just wanted him remembered. I have placed a marker for my gg grandfather, Stephen Wiggins, on the grave site of Jane Woodham Lisenby Wiggins so he would be remembered. I could not come up with a better idea since I had no proof of his burial. I had no date of death or where he might have died. He showed up in the 1870 census and did not show up in the 1880 census. Daniel was involved with my ALEXANDERs back in South Carolina, and in old Henry County. BTW... is anybody doing what Homer use to do with the CSA soldiers information. Solomon WRIGHT. Rev. Soldier from Darlington Dist. SC actually married Delila GOODSON. This is per "The Diaries of Evan Pugh" [1763-1801], transcribed by Horace Fraser Rudisill, published by St. David's Society, Florence, SC 1993. The entry on page 241 for September 1784 reads, "Wd 22 at home poorly Married Solo' Wright to Delila Goodson". (Even Pugh, an early Baptist minister, had been feeling poorly for several days.) Mrs Espy's DAR application is also flawed as to the date / place of death of Solomon Wright. It states that he died in SC about 1815. In reality Solomon moved to GA about that time. He died in Henry Co. AL in 1838. When Solomon Wright sold his land in SC prior to his move to GA, his wife was identified as Delila Wright. All of Solomon's proven children were born after the marriage to Delila GOODSON. We have not identified her father but there were several GOODSON families in Darlington District SC. I have discover records that may have led to the incorrect guess as to a Reynolds marriage. I am working on correcting the DAR records by a detailed and documented draft of the life & children of Solomon Wright and Delila Goodson. Please note that several websites and books have flawed information as to the father of Solomon Wright.[One such "father" died a number of years before Solomon was born]. A possible father has been located but no proof found. If anyone has primary evidence of the father of Solomon, I would very much appreciate you passing the data on to me. If you would like copies of the INCOMPLETE draft, please e-mail me at wbehill@earthlink.net and send me your e-mail address and I will send the current version of the draft as an attachment. Reubin WRIGHT died as a POW in Civil War. His widow, Hester (KEELS) WRIGHT, and 2 sons came to TX around 1800 and settled in Trinity / Houston Co. area. Some still live there. The mother of Hester Ann KEELS was Luanza [varied spellings] maiden neme not known. Luanza later married a BATEMAN and signed as Luanza BATEMAN the permission for her underage daughter, Hester KEELS, to marry Reubin WRIGHT. I am a member of Old Darlington Dist. SC & Sumter Co.
