    2. Ceya, Elizabeth (Lillie) McCoy married Seaborn Lafayette (Fate) Cutchens February 26, 1906. Ruby McCoy married Bertis G. Jones and then Andrew Hudson Watson. He as the son of Alonso Monroe and Maryetta Watson. Lillie was the daughter of Jack and Elizabeth Nichols. Ruby was the daughter of John Wiley and Martha Kirkland McCoy. Martha was the daughter of William Nathan and Nancy A. G. Kirkland. William was the son of my great, great Aunt Dorcas Ann Elizabeth Whiddon and William Wilson Kirkland. John B. Mccoy is buried at Newville Mrs. Ophelia is still alived and lives in Newville. They also had a Merlene who married Howard Parker. I don't have all the children of John and Martha that Mrs. Scott names so I don't know if there was some confusion as to who these children belong too. You know that happened in some of Mrs. Scotts recordings. 360 V & VI Carl McClendon was the son of Joe and Ida McClendon. He had a twin brother named Cecil. Joe and Ida are buried at Newville. Carl married Grace Floyd from over around Tumbleton. Carl and Cecil had a sister Grace who married Herman Hicks. Carl and Grace McClendon had a son Don who lives in Headland and married Marylin Espy. They had a daughter Mary Ann who married a Mullens and divorced. Grace and Herman had a son Jimmy and a daughter Glenda and a son Randy. I have no idea at all about Cephus. But I will find out, I know a McClendon researcher. In fact at the present she is the McClendon researcher. Roberta

    3. In Mrs Scott's book on page 362--II and III on down... Can anyone unscramble these surnames--with proof? Also, on pg. 360 --last V & VI --these surnames are unclear. Her numbering system left a lot to be desired; but, I am sooooooo thankful for this wonderful work. C. Minder [email protected]
