John King m. first Milley Williams, dau. of Catherine Tyre and William Williams, and moved from Edgecome Co., NC to Anson Co., NC with the Williams, Flake and Harris families. William Williams died in 1807. Something happened to Milley and John remarried to Winefred Kemp in 1795. John and Winefred King moved to Greene Co., AL soon after AL became a state with many of their friends and relatives of Anson Co., NC. John King and Winifred had these children: Sarah King Thomas W. King Drewry E. King Zilda Mirah King Rosanna King m. John W. King. Drury King seems to be a key name and could have been the father of the elder John King who m. Milley Williams and Winefred Kemp. I would love to know the names of the children of Milley Williams and John King. This is my own research and I hope, it is correct. I would love to compare notes with anyone interested to these King lines. Two of the King men in my line have tested for YDNA with FamilyTreeDNA and manage them.
