Ellen: We moved from Green County back into Tuscaloosa in 2000. It was my idea and I really hated to make the move but it has proven that it was for the best. Harold had his 4th Open Heart surgery this past March 24. He surprised everyone with how well he did and all was going well until his back started to bother him. He has trouble sleeping and also hurts during the day. He may get a good rest every 3rd or 4th night. I have not done much with family history but guess I am saving it for rainy and cold days. The reason I responded today is because the Evans name caught my eye and I had e-mailed back and forth with the man who submitted the article that I referred to. Good to hear from you. As to locating graves, some have accused some folks in the Knowville area of destroying some of the old graves which does not surprise me at all. Also the timber cutters get a lot of blame.
