The Evans cemetary is in or near Sawyerville/Melton, Al which is in Hale Co. The Abner Evans story is in THE HERITAGE OF HALE COUNTY ALABMA - book that was published in 2001. It is on pages 143-144. If you do not have access to this book, send me your mailing address and I will make a copy and send to you. I have a story in this book and did much of the work on THE HERITAGE OF GREENE COUNTY ALABAMA.
