Hello: This is addressed to those of you who have County mailing lists, ALxxxxxx-L@rootsweb.com, as well as RAN-CLAY-L and AL-AfricAmer-L. Last year, I set up a simple form to allow folks to easily subscribe to the mailing lists. It was working just fine until around 15 February. I just noticed that some change was made to the system such that these notes now appear to come from nobody@c-5.rootsweb.com instead of from the subscriber's address. So, the listowner will now get an administrative message "found on the reject list". I'm trying to track this down with Tim Pierce to see if it can be fixed. If not, I'll take down the form. Until then, you'll need to manually subscribe anyone whose request gets rejected in this manner. I apologize for the extra work. If you don't manage the mailing list for your county, I hope that you are cooperating with the listowner. Please contact him/her and pass on this information. Regards, Leigh
