Using the RootsWeb Town Locator at http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/townco/townco.pl I found a Washington, MS in Adams County. There isn't a town of Washington in AL today. I don't know if a town was renamed from Washington to something else -- that did happen from time to time. Regards, Leigh
