Hi, Gang... I have to agree with the line of thinking here on queries. As your former SC, I can vouch for the fact there was a lot of confusion from our state visitors between the two sites and why there were two different places to post queries. While I do have links from Clarke County to the queries on Tracking Your Roots, I don't on Madison County and will be removing the link for Clarke County. David and Leigh have both made excellent suggestions for handling queries on your own with GenConnet and CCHelper and I would like to urge everyone to take a serious look at these two options. I can see problems continuing to arise from our visitors with "two ALGenWeb" sites, sorta speak. I've heard/seen so much good about GenConnect since it was created (maybe I'll switch over myself!). At the moment, I have my two counties on mailmerge programs at Rootsweb and have been very pleased with it, as well. BTW, Troy, any Clarke/Madison query connections sent to you, please forward them on to me. No problem. Leigh has also sent me 2 or 3 recently to be posted. My two cents...
