    2. The story of Brushey Creek is now complete. There are 8 pages of information and photos to this article. A special thanks to Edwina Platt and Lucile Stinson for their contribution of photos. The Butler County Researchers' Surname List has been updated again. Dan Shell is our newest member listed. Please visit his web page on the Shell family. It is the newest one listed on the Butler page. Another Thanksgiving is about to close. I hope that everyone had plenty of turkey and were surrounded by family, and friends. We have had almost 10,000 visitors to the Butler page since the page changed in June. I hope to see it roll over by New Years. Thanks to everyone who has contributed information and photos. Thanks to all who have sent much welcome comments on the web site. I have a few photos of the McKenzie area. I hope to get them on soon.     2. The Story of the Brushey Creek Community is now on line.... at least part one of it. This was written by Mrs. Lillian Shell Morgan about 1958. I hope to have part two online within the week; however, I need some help. I need a photograph of the the old school, the old church building, the new church building, any businesses that were once in the community. I have a section for school teachers, but need more photos. I would like to add some photos of some of the pastors and perhaps any families that lived in the community. If you have any photos connected with Brushey Creek Community, please share them. You will be given credit for providing them. Please indentify persons and/or buildings pictured.
