Does anyone know of an Attala AL in or near Fayette Co? It was mentioned to me by a family member as being where my McCoys were in AL before coming to MS. I find them on the Fayette County Census 1850-1860, Ashville. I have checked the GNIS site... for every feature type I can find, no results. Thanks, Karen
