ASTON 23 Farmer $200 AL [1827] Manerva [nee MORTON] 22 AL Sarah 04 AL John T. 02 AL WOODS, Sarah 43 SC [1807] Andrew 17 AL [1833] He wrote the following obituary (transcribed as written) for her in 1854: Sarah Woods Departed this life April the 19th 1854 and hir funeral was Preacht Sept the 3rd 1854 at antioc church by J. W. Logan a cumberland Presbeterian minister of the gospel. text was the first Epistal of Paul the apostle to the thesiolonians the 4th chapter and the 14 verse reads as folows for we believe that Jesus died and rose again even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. this Sept the 4th 1854 rote by Andrew M. Aston and kind Like Sarah, the ASTON and MORTON families also were in SC before moving to AL. I hope someone can help me determine how Sarah fits into my family.
