My Fayette Co. PATTERSONs came into the county from Tallapoosa Co. AL. The BERRYs and the JONES family came from Georgia, though the JONESes were in Tallapoosa for a while before moving to Fayette Co.. I also have LINDSEY collateral relatives who may have been in Fayette Co. The direct line was in the Birmingham area before moving on to MS (Tishomingo Co.)
