    3. I am looking to find information on Bartholomew Lawrence who resided in Fayette County in its earliest days,This could have been my 4th great grand father I have a Lucinda Lawrence born 1818 Ga. mar.John Calvin Panter born 1814 Tn.According to the land records they entered land in 1858 ,in Pearidge,There were also several Lawrence families who lived in the area. How did Lucinda fit in these Lawrence families ? Also heard she may have been native possibly cherokee. There is a cemetery on Randolph mt. in the woods,I was often told it was the old lawrence cemetery ,is the Lawrence family buried here without markers? I know they have connections, because my grandfather always took my mom and sister down there and showed them where it was,and kept it clean,he spoke of family being there also. His name was David Gillion s/o John A and Mary Mollie Ford Gillion.I believe the Lawrence family may have tied in with the Gillion and Panter family.Anyone have any info?
