Thanks for posting all of the SOUTH marriages. Was Horace DODSON related to Wesley DODSON (b. 1812, SC) who married Luvica "Visey" McCLUNG? One of Luvica's sisters--Elizabeth McCLUNG (b. 1822, d. bef. 8/11/1854 in Fayette County) married Jesse J. LANGSTON (b. abt. 1823 and d. bef. 8/27/1853). Jesse J. LANGSTON was a JP in Fayette County prior to 1850. Another of Luvica's sisters--Pheba Jane McCLUNG (b. 2/10/1823 in Fayette Co, d. aft. June, 1901) who married John B. "Johnny LANGSTON (b. 12/18/1818, d. bef. 25 June, 1901, when his will was probated in Fayette Co.). Following the deaths of Jesse J. LANGSTON and his wife Elizabeth, Wesley DODSON was appointed administrator of their estate. After the deaths of Jesse J. and Elizabeth LANGSTON their children were split between Luvica and Wesley DODSON and Jane and John LANGSTON. Elreeta Weathers
