I was reading a historical article that stated that one of the earliest houses built in Fayette County was built by John C.Moore a probate judge 1845-1849,this house is located on Elyton Rd.And Mrs.John Gilliam later lived there. Can any one tell me more about this Mrs.John Gilliam? My Ggrandfather's name was John A.Gillion/Gilliam he married Molly Ford in about 1898 in Fayette Co.I am wondering if this could possibly be his mother. My John A Gillion/Gilliam had a brother name Henry,mar.Ella Painter, and a sister name Lucinda who married Arley Myers.Most are buried in Pearidge cemetery,and some at Studdards Crossroads.Please help.
