Dear Fred and all: I also remember seeing a very old book in the probate vault of recorded deaths, and maybe births for an early period, maybe before the births were kept in Montgomery. It's been so long since I've been over there that I cannot accurately tell you what date that was, but maybe someone who lives there (Fred?) might could call for you and post to this list.
