Married Mary Jane Reed abt.1860.He was a cooper by trade.He and Mary had 8 children, the youngest was my grd.father Charles E. b.1881. Can anyone supply any info on James/Chester? Why would someone change their first and middle names? Huh? Found him as Chester in 1880 census living in Eckmansville Ohio-which is where my grd.father said he came from.
