    1. [ALEXANDER] DNA test
    2. Omigosh! My nephew has consented to doing the DNA test!! He is so cute. He said to me "so do you want me to send you a Dixie cup of spit or what?" I am beyond thrilled. It will at last tell is our heritage because we don't have a clue. Edward Alexander has never been found. We will know more soon! We've talked about it being a Christmas present. If I get the test, I'll be back in touch to compare. Thanks, Craig alexlary@crosslink.net wrote: Craig, We believe that my husband Larry Alexander descends from an Alexander from that area. He is one of the initial DNA project participants, he is descended from a William Alexander b. Abt 1790 in Virginia. We believe that it is in the western area, ie Augusta or somewhere near there, but we don't know. If you were to be tested, then perhaps we can combine our data, and reach some further info or conclusions. Larry's results number is: 8135. If you are tested and don't match him at all then we can eliminate each others linages as being of interest. If you don't test, then we will never know. Go here to see his DNA numbers: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~alexanderdna/YDNA_Results.htm His linage is here: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~alexanderdna/lineages_A.htm He is in Group A, along with 2 cousins. v/r, Beverly Alexander ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craig Alexander" To: Sent: Monday, April 09, 2007 9:23 PM Subject: Re: [ALEXANDER] DNA >I am interested in the DNA project, but I have not yet convinced myself to >spend the money.
