In Allen's will it names William,James, David,Allen,Moses and Zacheus as children and grandson John, son of William, so he did have a son David, as did Allen's brother Gabriel. In Nancy's will (1808) she names Allen,Moses,William,Zacheus,David,Alexander and daughter Nancy Houston. Her other daughter Rosanna had died. I don't know why a son named Alexander is listed as a first name and not a laast, but it is in the middle of the other names so I think it's meant as a first name, but he isn't mentioned in Allen's 1805 will.
