Alexander, 55, Clarksville, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at noon on Friday at Greater Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. today at Foston Memorial Chapel with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Foston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Feb. 24, 1952, in Gary, Ind. He was the son of Albert and Alice Perry Alexander. He was married to Nelma Finley Alexander. He was a member of Greater Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Finance Committee. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the DAV Chapter No. 54. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Nelma Finley Alexander, Clarksville, children, LaDonna C. Cottermon, Clarksville, Charles Michael Alexander, Cookeville, sisters, Pearl Perry, Clarksville, Deborah Anderson, Tulsa, Okla., brother, Jimmy Perry, Tulsa, Okla., and a host of grandchildren.
