Alexander who was in the service during WWII? We knew him as Alex in our family. He use to spend his off duty time at my husband, Buzzy (Squeek) and his brothers and sisters folks house in the early 40's, near the Navy Hospital in north end of Seattle,Wa. We still talk about Alex and wonder what ever happened to him after the war was over. He went to Calif. after he was stationed in the Seattle area and we lost track of him. Folks didn't keep track of each other as easily then as now with cell phones and computers. I volunteered to try to find Alex for them or maybe some of his family. I have located a number of my own family on Rootsweb doing my family history so thought I'd start trying for Alex the same way. It seems that he was from N.C. but time erases a lot of my memories. I'm sure Alex would still remember Buzzy, know also as Squeek and his older brother Bob and sister Izzy, younger sibs James, Donna, Lila, Maxine, Jerry, Audrey, Joan and little Wardy, now all grandparents and some great grandparents. We wonder who he married and how many kids they have and how they are doing and where any of the family lives now. Can anyone out there help me find these folks? As we get older, our old friends seem to mean more and perhaps because we have more free time to THINK about and REMEMBER all the good times when we were younger. Appreciate your sharing with anything you can help me with locating these folks. Thank you and Aloha, Lorraine lea_art7@yahoo.com
