Jane Alexander was born 1665 in Ireland & died 1691-1693 in Somerset Co., MD. She married John McKnitt III (son of John McKnitt II & Elizabeth Wallace) in 1685. Jane's parents were James Alexander & Mary Maxwell. James Alexander was born 1634 in Scotland & died November 17, 1704 in Ireland. He married Mary Maxwell in 1650 in Ireland. I know of 6 children (Elizabeth, James II, Frances, Samuel, John, & Jane). James' parents were Robert Alexander & Mary Hamilton. Robert Alexander was born in Scotland. His fatehr was John Alexander who was born c. 1590 in Scotland. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
