Chris, would you want to post a note on the rootsweb (Alexander-L forum) concerning the connection of the Cecil County/Mecklenburg NC Alexanders. It appears from DNA that we are Rib haplotype and the Earl of Stirling line as well as the MacAlisters of Tarbert are Ria haplotype. I understand that haplotype puts people in a sort of "family" and if you are of differing haplotypes---then not closely related. There are many Alexanders who have belived us to be connected to the MacAlisters of Tarbert or the Stirling line, so they should be interested in that finding.
