My g-g-g-grandfather Hugh Alexander was living in 1841 in Dailly, Scotland. Within the household was Mary McClelland (age 50) and Margaret McClelland (age 5). I noticed that your Hugh came to America. Not sure if there is a connection, but the McClelland and Dailly connections are intriguing.
