Does anyone have information on this couple? They were married 19 Jan. 1770 in Rowan Co., NC. Gabriel died 6 Mar. 1804, and Jane died 8 Jan. 1807, in Rowan or Iredell Co., NC. In searching Rootsweb World connect, there seems to be some question as to both of their birth dates. I've seen everything from 1718 to 1750 for Gabriel, and 1726 and 1750 for Jane. The earlier dates seem to be very improbable, if not impossible, as at least one of their children was born in 1787, which would make Jane 61 years old at the time of giving birth!! My estimate is that his is probably around 1745, and hers about 1750, but does anyone know? Also, does anyone have a list of names and birthdates of their nine children? The only ones I have are: Joseph, b. 1772/73, Rowan Co., NC. Josiah/Jonah, b. 27 Aug. 1776/77, Rowan Co., NC. David, b. 23 Feb. 1778, Rowan/Iredell Co., NC. Martha, b. 1787, Rowan/Iredell Co., NC. In addition to those above, Gabriel's will names other daughters: Mary Mock, Roxanna Templeton, Rebecca, and Jane, and also son William. Would appreciate any information you can share.
