I have proven info only back to ca. 1732 and just received Y-DNA on myself. Here's the tough part: my Alexander's do NOT appear to be related to any known, published Ulster-Irish, Scots-Irish, Irish or Scots -American Alexander. They were Anglicans (later Methodists) surrounded (in Southern Virginia/Northern North Carolina & Georgia) by Presbyterian & other Protestant Alexander's and initial 25-marker results show a 100% I1b2a classification. Base info: FTDNA order 393, 390, 19, &c.
