Not often I see a reference to Alexander's in and around Oxford, PA. I have a brick wall in Thompson L. Alexander. Cannot find him anywhere on the 1850 census but do fine after that. Anyhow, Thompson is living in Oxford area about 1863, when he enlists in the union army. He always list MD as his birthplace about 1825-30. I really do believe his first name is somehow related to a family surname. Anyhow, if anyone knows anything, please contact me. Gerry Tostenson
