    3. RALPH ALEXANDER, 76 BATESVILLE, Miss. - Ralph Alexander, 76, formerly of Rockford, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, in his home. Born Aug. 14, 1930, in Beaverton, Ala., the son of Virgil G. and Pearl Stanford Alexander. Ralph retired after 35 years as an engineer at Commercial Wire in Rockford. He then went to work for Myco in Rockford, retiring after 10 years. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Batesville. Survivors, wife, Jeraldean Otts Alexander of Batesville; daughters, Debbie (Jim) Alexander Nichols of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Linda (Ron) Alexander Slabaugh of Caledonia; son, Brian (Jeani) Alexander of Monroe Center; brothers, E.J. Alexander of Loves Park and Carrol Alexander of Wheeling; grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Shanna, Corey, Chase, Allison and Matthew. Preceded in death by son, Michael R. Alexander; and brother, Carl Alexander. Graveside services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Crews Cemetery, Sulligent, Ala., with Dr. Gary Roberson officiating. Interment in Crews Cemetery, Sulligent, Ala. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, in Wells Funeral Home, 340 Highway 35 N.
