(I don't believe I have any relationship to this family, but I did some research because I once thought they could be part of my group.) Simpson and Delilah Alexander, both born in SC, had a son Rufus W., born about 1848 or 1849 in Weakley County, TN, and, in 1870, he appears on the census in their family (listed as age 20) along with Fanny Alexander, age 17. Fanny was not Simpson's and Delilah's daughter; thus, she was probably Rufus's wife. I don't know any more about them after that.
