I found an Alex Alexander and Ruth on the 1850 census in Gwinntt, Goldstones. They were born in the late 1700's in SC. I think my Alex Alexander may have been a son or brother that went to Kentucky. He may have married a Black. My ggg grand father was Alexus Alexander Black and he came from KY to TN sometimes soon after the Civil War. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any info would be appreciated
