I just finished my application to DAR. The oldest Alexander I know of is James A. B. 1726 Armagh, Ireland D 1791 Clearfield Co. PA. With much help from a relative who joined SAR, I have the proof of James's son, Joseph Alexander b. 1755 at Tyrone, Ireland came to America 1771. M 3 times D. 15 Nov. 1858.
