Fellow listers, As was mentioned by the previos poster, here seems to be a recurring theme of family members hiding things, not wishing to talk about events, certain family members, and covering things they think should not come out. The actual truth about it is, what does it truly matter in the grand scheme of things? If your ancestors did something or a member of the family had a secret, it is absolutely no reflection on present day family members. Whether you are an Alexander or what EVER, we are all members of the human race, and if we have not learned tolerance and the ability to forgive, we are no where. I think it is more important to be a member of the larger family, flawed and human and wonderful! It would be so great to see these things be overshadowed by the joy of accomplishing another branch of the old family tree! Wouldn't that be super?! I am my own human being. Alexander or Smith or Jones. It never occurred to me in my entire life that as a good person, anyone wouldn't want to claim me! Quite the opposite.
