He came to the United States from Ireland. He was married to a Rosa Green from England (Born approx. 1903, died in the mid 1990's. The had several children, Ruth, William, Alice, Elizabeth, Betty, Sarah and James. I know James also had a brother named William that went to Canada and 4 sisters Mae, Elizabeth, Martha and Sarah. My understanding is that James and William never spoke after William went to Canada. I have search the ship records but can't find where James and Rosa came over here together. He was a plumber and a school teacher. I am told the males never carried a middle name until my grandparents had children. All of the 1st males in our families are named William (mother picks the middle name) and the 2nd male is named James. I can't find any info on these two and therefore cant go any further without it. If this sounds familiar please let me know.
