Williams father was Thomas Melton Alexander, son of James (b 1776 NC) son of James (b1742 NC) son of Daniel (b 1722 MD) son of Moses (b1690 MD) son of James B. (b 1652 Ulster, Ireland) son of James (b 1624 in Bughall, Scotland) son of Robert , son of John (b1590 Scotland) As I mentioned this is info I uploaded from other sites.
