Edna and Nicole, I am trying to find out more information on James Alexander (born 22 Sept 1797 in Kinnell, Angus, Scotland). He had an older sister named Clementina (born 25 May 1787) . Their parents were Robert Alexander and Jean Mill. My GGGrandmother, Sarah Alexander and daughter, Clementina, were living alone in Barbour County, AL, in 1850. Often children are named after members of their family. I know it is a long shot, but the birthdate of James is close to Sarah's birthdate. The unusual name of Clementina is my only connection.
