That is the other Hugh, who md Agnes Clark and then Betsy Alexander. He was b. 1758 and died in 1818 in Vermont. My Sarah's father was supposed to be born in NH and her mother b. in CT. I think this Hugh and Elizabeth is probably her parents, since I have ruled the other 2 Alexanders out and they do have a daughter, her age and at the right place to be married in 1821. I keep wondering if he might have been a cousin to Hugh, who md Agnes Clark. Anyway thanks for the info. Selma
