My Alexander family lived in Henderson & Madison Counties in Tennessee (western Tennessee), although I don't know where my g-g-grandfathre came from before that though (I don't know who his parents were). There were at least 3 or 4 Mecklenburg Alexander families living in the area at the time. I haven't found much information about them though. Someday I'll need to take a visit up to the Tennessee Room (where a lot of the genealogy records are kept for the state) in the Jackson Library in Madison county.
