My oldest KNOWN Alexander ancestor is Joseph a, d 1851 in Polk Co TN. He had a son, Joseph, and many Joseph descendents, but none yours, I am sorry to say. We BELIEVE Joseph was son of Hezekiah A of Mecklenburg co. NC, but that has been questioned due to his not being in the will and no birth record. Hence my interest in DNA.
