Alexander & Melinda Jane Mainord. Harvey M. was born in 1850 and died in 1929. He and Melinda had 8 children (that I know of) together: Sarah Jane m. Vincent/Vinson Ross Gurley Lillie Ellen m. John Thomas Grisham William Aldridge m. Clara/Clora Thomas Delaney "Cuni" m. Grover C. Matlock John Vinson m. Katie Francis Karnodle (my great-grandparents) Laura "Della" Alexander m. John Riley Maness If anyone descends from these lines, please respond. I can't find any relatives outside of some of the other descendants of John Vinson Alexander. Harvey M. and Melinda Jane raised their children in western Tennessee in Madison & Henderson counties. I don't know Harvey M's parents. I always thought it was Hezekiah Julius Alexander from Mecklenburg Co., NC, but now I'm not sure because the Mecklenburg Alexanders don't have any information on Hezekiah Julius after 1848 (which I believe was when he moved to Tennessee with his wife Martha).
