WILSON and John F. THOMAS in 1857. I think this is the same person as the JEREMIAH J. JOSEY who owned land in Butler and/or Coffee County, AL, but I am not certain. John F. THOMAS' first wife was Harriett Leona JOSEY, and Johanna/Joanna was his second wife. I have not been able to connect Harriett L. JOSEY to JEREMIAH J. JOSEY. The 1848 will of Jeremiah BELK of the District of Darlington included a bequest to Abner ALEXANDER and his heirs, but in trust and for the use and benefit of Benjamin S. JOSEY, Massy M. SAVERENCE, Reese JOSEY, JEREMIAH J. JOSEY, Elijah JOSEY, ANNA JOSEY, and Joseph JOSEY, the children of the decedent's daughter, Miriam JOSEY, until the youngest of them reached age 21. I am also interested in locating information on ANNA JOSEY. Was Abner ALEXANDER related to the Joseys?
