Hi Carol, I was able to find a Albert Alexander, son of Alfred Alexander b.Ohio and Ida E.b.IL, both 29 years, in the 1880 Census in Carlisle, Lorain County, Ohio. Two siblings, a girl, Gertrude, age 6, same as Albert (twins?) and a boy, one month old. Parents of Alfred were English as were Ida's. Take care, Judy Minihan
