Joseph Alexander was Richard's great grandfather and served in the Revolutionary war. I have detailed information on her service records. I am hoping to one day find out who has the pictures that were left to Richard L. Alexander. He was married and his wife lived in Piper City. From the letters that were written he had accumulated a lot of things. Richard had 3 wives. One was a Gwendolyn Fowler, His next wife was Helen Kathleen Starr of Aylmer, Ontario Canada. Richard was in the Royal Canadian Air Force. I have so much information yet I have no idea what to do with all of it. I know I need to keep it in a dry sealed area but have not of yet. Richard had 4 children. Karen Fae Alexander b: Kankakee, Ill March 30, 1948 present: Elliot Lake, Ontario, Can Robert Scott Alexander b: Kankakee, Ill February 28, 1954 present: Elliot Lake, Ontario, Can John William Alexander b: Kankakee, Ill Died at birth 1951 Margaret Ada Alexander(Maloney) Momence, Ill son Daniel Richard Maloney If anyone wants to work with me to build this family I would be very grateful. I have actual copies of Josephs pension papers. I hope to hear from someone who may know the family. Richard was my dad's half brother. Harry William Alexander was their father.
