I just replied to another one of your queries on Jesse, but don't know if you'll get a receipt since I posted under one of the other replies to you. So I am answering again. My husband's Lamb line is in Madison Co KY, and I have been looking at Lamb marriages etc. trying to sort out all those Lambs and their extended kin. I'd like to talk to you about Newt Alexander as well as others. I think Jesse Alexander is from the Alexanders who were in Orange Co VA where our Lamb lines go back to. My latest hypothesis is that Jesse's father is a William Lamb born 1785 in VA, son of a James Alexander and Jerusha Townsend. The timing and logic of these relationships work.
