Williams father was Thomas Melton Alexander, son of James (b 1776 NC) son of James (b1742 NC) son of Daniel (b 1722 MD) son of Moses (b1690 MD) son of James B. (b 1652 Ulster, Ireland) son of James (b 1624 in Bughall, Scotland) son of Robert , son of John (b1590 Scotland) As I mentioned this is info I uploaded from other sites. If anyone can provide documentation I will be grateful. Thanks, Kathy
Hi Mike, There are probably a whole bunch of us out here that are related to the Alexanders of Kentucky and perhaps to you. I am in Seattle. My g grandmother, Francis Matilda Alexander Thomas was born raised and died in Dawson Springs, Hopkins County, Kentucky. Dawson is about 20 miles from Providence. Do you know who John Taylor, Sr.'s parents were? My Grandfather married Susan Green Siegler sometime in the 1870s not shure of the exact year. They moved to Illinois sometime around 1920 for work in the coal mines. Dad always told me we had a lot of family still in Kentucky. Unfortunately I never got to meet any of them. If there is any Alexander's out there that think they may be related to me. I would like to hear from them. Either at my email which is mike@shawneelink.net or by phone my number is (618)273-6574 If you would contact me I would appreciate it very much.
