Harvey M. and Melinda Jane raised their children in western Tennessee in Madison & Henderson counties. I don't know Harvey M's parents. I always thought it was Hezekiah Julius Alexander from Mecklenburg Co., NC, but now I'm not sure because the Mecklenburg Alexanders don't have any information on Hezekiah Julius after 1848 (which I believe was when he moved to Tennessee with his wife Martha).
