Was she the same Celia Boon who married William Marion Alexander or a different one? I first thought she must be one of Absolom's daughters but she is not named as such in the various family trees. Elisha Alexander is one and Daniel D. Alexander the other. It appears almost certain that they have a common ancestor but I have not found it. My connection to Elisha is through his daughter Mary "Polly" who married James H. Holden. Six of their ten daughters came to Blount County, Alabama and ended up in various locations in my family tree. I also have some connections with William Marion "Hopping Billy" and his first wife Celia Boon. I am interested in Minerva and her husband Ausberry Nix, even though it is not my main Nix line. Also Thomas and Mary Boon. I am also interested in exchanging information on the other children, patricularly Prier, even though I do not know of any direct connections. I am very interested in exploring the parents of both Elisha and Daniel D. Alexander.

    1. [ALEXANDER] Alexanders at Shady Grove Cemetery
    2. Roger
    3. Sorry for the misleading subject line. I didn't realize that I had left it from the previous message that I had hit the reply button on. Shady Grove Cemetery is in the center north part of Hardin Co. TN just outside of Saltillo and about 5 miles south of the Henderson Co line. The death dates of the Alexanders that I have out there range from 1863 right up to the current time. I have one group that seem to have ties to J.D (John Davidson) Alexander (1800-1878) and his Wife Charlotte (Horton) Alexander (1812-1863). I have had contact with a descendant from this group and know many of the connections to mostly the grandchildren who are buried there near them. Another group seem to have ties to B.C. (Benjamin Cathy) Alexander (1846-1920) and his wife Martha Angeline (Clayton) Alexander (1857-1834) which tie into the Claytons, Binghams, Vanhoose, McGee, Allen and more. Yet another group of mostly young children that seem to be in close proximity with what I believe is the grandparents, Henry (1875-1967) and Maudie (1899-1989) Alexander. This group appear to be related because of their close proximity, but I have almost no information on them. I also have some more current day Alexanders which I believe I will be able to link without any problems, but not sure yet how they might tie into these older groups. Anyone who can help with these would be appreciated. Also, if anyone needs information from or about Shady Grove, I know a little bit about a lot of Shady Grove. Let me know if I can help.
