The Lathamville community is still there. It is located on Hwy 68 between Kilpatrick and Crossville in DeKalb County. My sister-in-law's father, Judson Kilpatrick had a store there in the 1950's. Her sister still lives there. There is a church, Marvin Methodist, and a Masonic Hall which has probably been there in some form or another for probably 100 years. Lathamville is located about 10 miles from Etowah County.
