GOOD NEWS........................................ The Nichols Memorial, home of the Northeast Alabama Genealogical Society has new hours. We are now open 2 days a week........... Tuesday 10 to 3, and the librarian is Mr. Jerry Jones Thursday 10 to 3, different ones is opening the library on Thursday. We now have over 4800 family files and we have most of the Alabama Heritage Books and receiving more weekly. We have lots of family books. Pay us a visit and see the most beautiful building in Etowah County, Alabama. MORE GOOD NEWS.......................... Mark your calendar we are getting ready for our Annual Ancestor Swap Meet, this year it will be at Dwight Baptist Church in Alabama City, about 1/2 mile from the Nichols Library.
